Calling this a micro wedding almost sounds wrong and unclassy. Because these two are complete class.
Last July, I had the honor of spending the day with two sweet, beautiful families as they went ahead with their wedding plans during the pandemic, even though it was only their small families and myself.
I’ve loved seeing how couples get creative when they’re forced to limit plans, and really really love seeing couples still go ahead and get married. That’s what REALLY matters. The party and large dinner is fun, but it’s not the point of the day. So seeing people that know the value and true purpose of what a wedding is and allowing themselves to make that commitment when the world is crazy, is just a bit magical. 🙂
Also! Who says you need a big gathering to create such a beautiful day?! Cecelia and Andrew’s families both did SO good at making their day feel very special, and it made my camera happy with all the pretty things and beautiful faces to photograph.
If you’re trying to decide if you should continue on with a micro wedding or hold off for later, what are you torn between? Marrying the love of your life just doesn’t need to wait and a small celebration can be the perfect thing you didn’t know you needed. ❤
