Last April was my first experience with a backyard wedding in a long time, and I absolutely LOVED it! It gave us more time for what’s really important. Grant and Juliana have been a joy to get to know and I’m so grateful for them! Juliana’s a girl with a big heart, and a bigger desire for every moment of life to be captured.
The closer to their wedding we got, the world became chaotic, forcing them to make some changes. Yet their day was EVERYTHING. They learned how to make it the most beautiful day on family property, and you would never guess we were going through a weird, crazy time.
Mother nature graced them with some sprinkles during the ceremony, but nothing serious and it actually made for some beautiful photos as they exchanged marriage vows. Lots of memories to capture and more time with the people you hold to your heart the closest. Cheers to these two! I hope you enjoy the inspiration below if you’re planning your own micro wedding! Check out this other beautiful wedding I photographed last year for the best ideas to make your smaller wedding a sincerely special day.
