Riley and Jake are a sweet, laid-back couple that I have really enjoyed getting to know and capture these sweet memories for them. From the beginning when Riley came to me, she has been super organized and on top of this wedding planning really early! We had details nailed down months and months beforehand which has made the wedding day run SO smooth.
They had a wonderful, summer day and after seeing each other later in the morning, they let their wedding party slowly get dressed and head over to the church while the three of us explored the downtown area for their portraits, where we got LOADS of them due to a well laid out timeline. 😉 It almost didn’t feel like a wedding day, the way we didn’t have to rush and just took our time capturing some beautiful photos!
Back at the church, the ceremony started smooth and let me tell you, when a groom can still tear up watching his fiance’ walk down the aisle toward him, AFTER he just spent hours with her taking photos, that’s a sign it’s definitely real love! Some couples choose not to have a first look because they want that reaction, but Riley and Jake got the best of both worlds for sure!
After dinner and the sweetest toasts over at the Forte, the dance floor was PACKED for the remainder of the evening, and I can honestly say I have never seen it so energized from the very start and fully packed for as long as it was. It was a great party!
I think it’s safe to say Riley and Jake are a super blessed couple with amazing friends and family around them, and a couple that are totally crazy about each other. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness!
