A Summer Wedding at Carpers Vineyard and Winery – A Norwalk Winery

After their amazing Jester Park Engagement Shoot, you could only just absolutely look forward to Chris and Rachel’s wedding day! These two have a contagious joy and genuine love for each other, that you just can’t help but cheer them on and want to be a part of this sweet connection.

Their June wedding brought on the heat and humidity, as expected, but with our well thought out timeline, we had the flexibility to do short rounds of photos outside, go in for an a/c break, and back and forth. It worked out so well without anyone’s makeup or suits sweating! It’s always my goal to create a great timeline for my couples so they don’t feel rushed or pressured, and can honestly just go with the flow the day of.

The atmosphere of their wedding day at this gorgeous Norwalk Winery was what anyone would hope for. From the joyful photos in the early afternoon, to the intimate ceremony, and through the reception where most guests couldn’t help but enjoy the summer golden hour on Carpers patio, playing yard games and socializing.

Rachel chose to surprise her mom with their own dance, which was a highlight of the day! Seeing her mom light up as she went to lead her to the dance floor was a tug at anyone’s heart.

I’m so grateful to have the sweetest couples trust me for their wedding day and that I can capture all this big and small, emotional-filled images that they get to look back on for a lifetime. Cheers to Chris & Rachel!
