The unique, large veil was handed over, and moments later you heard a snip. And then another snip. Why would someone cut up a veil?! Especially on your wedding day?
It was a super special moment, for both mom and daughter. Mom was sacrificing her heirloom veil, just cutting off some beaded parts from her own wedding veil, to incorporate in Peyton’s HAIR! How cool is that idea?!
Peyton is so close with her family, that she thought well into how to keep the connection with what, or how, she wore things on her wedding day.
This day was one of my favorite’s of 2019. The weather was perfect, but that’s not why. Peyton and Reagan have been waiting YEARS for this day. When you’re a young teenager, you might think for yourself that you’ll find Mr. Right pretty quickly. Your parents never expect this, but you as a teenager feel optimistic that you know what you want and you’re ready to take on the world. It’s the hopeful dream we all have, yet rarely happens. But Peyton knew. She knew there was something about her brothers friend that she absolutely loved, and fell in love with him very early in life, with him to return the feelings soon after. Dating life took them into a long distant relationship at times, so you could feel the anticipation and pure joy as they both got ready this morning, up to their first look, and ALL throughout the day.
The tears couldn’t be held back when she walked down the aisle, or when they both walked UP as husband and wife!
The tears weren’t held back when Mom helped her in her dress as her baby girl stood there somehow already a bride.
The tears weren’t held back for the first look as she walked towards her handsome fiance that she’s waited years for.
The tears weren’t held back for her dance with Dad as he sang to her, loved on her, and brought his family up to relish in the moments, trying to grasp that they’re adults but loving them just as much as the moment they were born.
The emotions on this day were so surreal. Peyton’s dads speech was heartfelt and didn’t keep a dry eye in the place. I wish I remember all that was said, but just hearing him speak about his daughter and the man he couldn’t be happier with to give to her as a husband was SO. GOOD. The love and connection these families have together is so strong and genuine. I honestly just soaked up the whole day witnessing everything and in the moments of the speeches and dances, I truly truly felt honored to be the one capturing it all for them. I could go on and on, but really want you to see this wonderful couple for yourself and the emotions that were captured! So here you are, a gorgeous fall wedding with truly amazing people.
