Oh where to begin? I don’t know how I lucked out with being the photographer Eric and Monica chose, but lucked out is an understatement. If there’s ever two people that are completely laid back and joyful, it’s them! You two compliment each other so well, and a for sure match made in heaven.
Their wedding date was scheduled for severe storms, but going into it I knew it was going to still be great because they just cared about loving each other and we had a beautiful venue to do portraits in if it downpoured. Crazy though, it never did! The storms broke off before reaching us and actually made for perfect temps too so no one was dripping in sweat. (That Iowa humidity, ya know?)
The Gatherings Venue over in Nevada is a gorgeous venue, and with them connecting their business with an Airbnb close by, it’s perfect! Everyone had the morning to soak in the fresh air by the pond and just relax before getting ready. The perfect type of wedding day if you ask me.
These two radiate joy, and they genuinely cared for everyone that was a part of their day. The friends they chose for their party were amazing and I think it’s safe to say I again had a blast.
